more (pretty) whimsy: The Middle East
Four things I like:
* songs in a minor key
* songs about life’s inevitabilites
* new Australian bands (that aren’t force-fed to me by Triple J)
* beautiful, whimsical film clip.
The colours are so pretty. They remind me of my grandmother’s tea cups.
The Middle East is a collective of whimsical kids from Townsville who don’t seem to be trying too hard to prove themselves.

this is them here
Which is why they deserve some pass-along love. Go forth and pass on!! (Thanks to Tom C for the head’s up)

I listen to so much ABC radio that I appreciate you sharing this with me. Lovely and decorative clip.
Being heard as a band is up there with pitching a TV show to a network – something I know a little about (committment, courage and persistence is required!) I will pass around.
