I like number one, differentiating between exercise and an active life. I've never been able to stick at running, or a regular walk. I can't get into the rhythm of it, and sometimes health magazines make me feel a bit doomed to being unfit unless I keep trying. This makes me rethink what it means to be fit.

Thanks for sharing all this sweetness, Sarah! It really does help.

Greetings from Seattle! Lovely fodder for contemplation. Being a person who likes to chat, I particularly liked the point on #2 about conversation while eating. I am going to tell that to my friends the next time they laugh at me over dinner for eating "too slowly" because I talk while they are hurrying through their meal. I enjoy your posts & pictures and thank you for the soul food.
