The altitude helps to prolong the effects though, and with the aid of my concealed iPod to detach into my own pre-landing mental retreat, no fewer than four of my past six flights have been at least moderately pleasureable. A wee pinch of smelling salt helps with my altitude anxiety, and save for the pre-mentioned Shiraz, and empty stomach. Have a terrific journey and a comfortable return. May you launch, fly and land safely on both routes! Incidentally, I am still irate with the bloody production team of Masterchef, and haven't viewed the programme since their decision to not re-employ you. It's one of my top 10 and I think it's his best work yet. He also said queue behind Asian folk as they're very efficient and also usually only travel light. And what a twist! So bitter sweet (but then it's hard to feel sorry for a guy like George Clooney). Sarah, if you married a rich plumber (27% less smart of course) then you could just fly Business Class everywhere and then always avoid the Great Unwashed, yes? hehe ;) I loved that movie!
