Got to work extremely flat, the kids I work with cheered me up, I get the energy from them. Going downhill now it's after lunch, but we're nearly there!

Bravo James, you have nailed on the head the problem that so many of us experience. I love to read Sarah's blog simply because she is so aware and helps raise the level of awareness in the rest of us.

Like James I too try to focus on what is happening and why, and what contribution I am adding to the experience. As we all grow and learn we should ensure that we endeavour to enlighten others in this "minfulness approach" to life - the world will definitely be a better place for all.

Thanks again for your thoughts Sarah. I started my Friday on a very flat note and you have succeeded in turning that around.

I'm feeling it too Sarah. In fact i've been feeling it over the past week or so. We are in between full moon esclipses, which may be why (if you believe in that sort of thing of course).

cheers for the link xx

It has been suggested to me, and I have no reason to disbelieve it, that whatever is going on for me is being created by me whether i'm conscious of it or not. I also have created more suffering in relationships by not understanding this concept.
During times of upheaval, without going into analysis paralysis, if I pay attention to what I believe, what is important to me, what I am focusing my attention on or what meanings I am placing on things at that time of my life then it gives me some awareness of what is causing this upheaval. Quite often it is simply focusing on what I don't want as opposed to what I do want. If I focus on what I don't want then I tend to create more of what I don't want! Changing that wiring is a very difficult thing but it is possible.....meditation has by far been my biggest teacher in that regard.
The idea of doing something for someone else is so important when feeling flat but is SO hard because it is the last thing I feel like! But the times I have done it I have received a lovely warm feeling inside and it gets me off myself and any problems I think I may have. So why wouldn't I continue to do it then when I feel like that? It's hard to see the forest for the trees sometimes.......
You have awareness about your feelings Sarah and strategies as well........how good is that?

Sarah thank you for sharing the cute babies.
My Friday has started with a splitting headache
but after watching those cuties feel better already.
Nothing beats the magic of a happy giggly baby
and times four is a whole world of magic.
Have a great weekend
