It’s Friday. And I’d like to give a lovely reader:
free tuition with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition worth more than $4000
when they buy a copy of the I Quit Sugar ebook between now and Monday EST 5pm.
As you might know, the INN course saw me qualify as a Health Coach last year and was a big force in my quitting sugar and writing all about it. I know there are a lot of you out there keen to do the course. So. It’s Friday. Let’s give a little. This could be your chance.
The free tuition, worth $US4500, is for the upcoming course, starting October 31 and doesn’t include materials ($495). Buy a copy of the book between now and Monday EST 5pm (if you’ve already purchased one, buy for a friend!) and email me at info@sarahwilson.com.au to confirm you’re ready to enrol.
I’ll announce the winner on Monday. For more information on the course, click here.
Good luck and a restful weekend to all of you, wherever you might be. I’m off long boarding! x

Ohhhh can we enter if we bought it as soon as you released the e-book!? I didn’t need bribery, but would love to do this course.

Same! I’ve seriously considered doing this course. Already bought your e-book and sold a few through your affiliate program. Great give-away nevertheless, thanks Sarah!

Thanks for not recognising the 7 I already bought as being eligible….
Sarah, you’ve sold over 3000 copies apparently now….30 000 later & you can’t open a comp up to the 3000 already purchased? Hmm…

I am into my second week sugar free, after regressing for 2 months. Earlier this year I read Sweet Poison and went completely sugar free – lost 5 kilos and felt terrific. Then slowly and dangerously that chocolate found its way back into my life! I was out of control. So slowly, I try again. This time I have had no side affect besides extreme hunger!! Control that and my mind and I am almost there. I can’t believe how good I feel both inside and out!! Just do it and feel the difference!!

This is incredible! I’ve been seriously wanting to do the course, but it’s not in my budget right now. And I’ve been procrastinating on ordering the book so it seems the stars have aligned! Ordering now.

I’ve got to agree, we get punished for already *buying* the book by not being able to enter what sounds like a great competition because we didn’t buy it between *this date* and *this date*. A bit slack towards your faithful, ever-there readers.

Hey, I’ll respond to this issue. I get your point, but four things:
- this ebook is my income at the moment. It also took a lot of time and money to produce. So I don’t back away from wanting to market it as I can.
- I respect loyal readers – so I offered an intro price for two weeks.
- I don’t think anyone gets upset when Sportsgirl discounts the dress they bought last week. Discounts and deals happen.
- There’s been debate on this blog about the idea of “passing” the ebook around once purchased. I’m cool with this, but equally I don’t shy from inviting people to buy a second copy for a friend to be in the running for a giveaway.
- I could just not offer the giveaway at all…which is not ideal.
Hope that clarifies things!

Well put and thanks for doing the giveaway. I’m just one example where I had been thinking about buying Sarah’s ebook (and the INN course) for a while so it has taken me from merely having the book on my ‘to buy’ list along with a hundred other things, to actually purchasing it – a marketer’s dream!

If I can just mention something about this. I’ve been reading all about the I Quit Sugar book over the last few weeks but hadn’t bought it until today. I didn’t know what the cost of it was and have to say I was a bit astounded that it was only 15. For some reason i was expecting it to be between 35-40. I would have bought it whatever it was. For such a fantastic and helpful book that has been an incredible resource for so many people, this is a really valuable find for a very small cost. And what value do you place on the results of this program? Im sure many people who have given responses on the comments about this book would agree that their results far surpass the cost of the book. Thats the cost of like, what 3 or 4 coffees? So it really does come across insignificant and in bad faith when people go to the effort to complain in writing how they get punished for already buying something and throwing around the numbers of sales etc along with sarcastic comments.
It is out of respect for all of us, but mostly basic decency that Sarah responds to these very few issues that most of us don’t even think about. She doesn’t have to explain anything really or justify to anybody that this is her source of income at the moment or to defend her reasons for doing anything. I don’t see any other authors or writers getting flak for offering something or not offering something.
I told my sister and close friend about this site, they love it and have just recently purchased the book. So that’s my two ‘bob for the day. Cheers

Sarah, you don’t have to justify yourself to anyone. 99.99% of us think you’re amazing and please do EVERYTHING physically possible to get your book out to as many people as possible because everyone needs to be educated on the devil that is sugar. D x

Wow, I have been listening to the integrative and natural cancer experts on the Healing Cancer World Summit and was talking about it on Twitter when I decided to search “integrative” and you came up with your book… a couple of hours ago my dear friend, a breast ca. survivor, who is also listening to these interviews, said that she would really like to get off sugar since it seems to be a common denominator “stop-doing” warning from each of the speakers thus far. I’m buying your ebook and signing up as an affiliate… all the best! ~Cynthia (if you want to catch the free Healing Cancer World Summit go here: http://goo.gl/xxjJL <–remove if you are not comfortable with this. thanks! I just think everyone should join up with the 45,000+ other health-conscious individs on this Summit).

synchrolicious!! and welcome!
I agree….I veer from making the sugar-cancer connection too often, because it’s not my area of expertise, but also because it can alientate people (sadly) because they think the message is being taken too far. But, honestly, rates of cancer going up proportionally to our sugar consumption??!! No coincidence. The science is there!

Interested in the ‘I Quit Sugar’ I heard you on ABC Radio Adelaide, but only heard the last part. I heard you say that you replaced sugar with fat. I am a vegetarian, 62 years of age and addicted to sugar. Will your book help me? If you can assure me that you have catered for vegetarians, I am happy to purchase a copy and I know of others that would too.
I really need to give up sugar for my health!
Thanks

Wow! I feel incredibly lucky to have stumbled to your site this morning!! Enrolling in IIN is a dream of mine — but I’m having a hard time paying for additional education for myself when I’m currently paying for my children’s! So, winning this would be a dream come true! Off to buy your book, which I was about to do anyhow! Added bonus!! *fingers crossed*

Sarah, thankyou so much for giving one of us the opportunity to become a health coach. It has certainly been a dream of mine and I’m sure many other of your followers also. I’m sure it’s going to be a hard job picking the lucky person. Good luck everyone. D x

Wow! I’ve wanted to go to IIN for about a year now but have not had the funding. Both my neighbor and a friend are graduates and have talked to me about IIN. I’ve asked the abundant universe, visualized, believed, and I would be blessed to receive! I am pursuing a career as a healing professional and IIN would establish this and so much more! They stand for everything I believe in and value in life.

[...] the gorgeous Sarah Wilson ran a competition on her blog asking anyone who has bought her I Quit Sugar ebook to let her know that they’d like to study [...]
Darn it. Read this too late…. aww. Am signing up to ‘Nature Care College’ and it will cost me a hell of a lot more than $4000 to become a nutritionist. … I don’t think I’ll ever practice as a nutritionist, but I just have such a hunger to learn about food and its value in our lives. Dunno – should I do the IIN instead?

Hi Sarah,
I’m with Amy on this and wondering if I’ve missed the announcement of the winner somewhere over the past week. I’ve been eagerly checking everyday.
