the final I Quit Sugar webinar, in case you missed it
In it I chat, amongst other things,
* how to navigate Easter
* suggestions for morning tea, and snack times
* fertility and quitting sugar, and how they work together, and I recommend Nat Kringoudis at The Pagoda Tree.
* quitting sugar and the impact on exercise
I’d love to hear from you: did you find these webinars helpful? Would you like to take part in more on other topics?

Hi Sarah! The player says “this content is currently not online” – do you know what the issue might be? Also, I saw you in Byron on Saturday morning and now my siblings think I’m a stalker because i recognised you by your green shorts!

You’re not the first, Emma. I’ve been wearing that one pair now for 6 years, pretty much every day!

PS you should have said Hi!

Hi Sarah, as it is now March and the 8 week IQS program is over does this mean you will now be writing on other topics? I do hope so.

I really identify with craving sugar when i’m tired. I always have nuts on me to get me through the 3pm slump – even though they are not sweet, I find they help the cravings.

I do the same, I especially like to have a few cashews, not sure why but they do the trick.

Oooh I really relate to craving sugar when tired. I’m coming off about my fortieth night in a row of less than enough sleep so the build up makes for an interesting state of mind. To caffeinate and further inflame, or not to caffeinate and inflame?
I just wanted to say thank you for these IQS helpers Sarah. I bailed on the IQS plan fairly early due to a re-emergence of eating disorder thoughts (not caused by quitting sugar, but the constant thinking about food didn’t help) and I’m looking forward to giving it another shot when I’m in a more stable head space. For now its really nice to read along even when I haven’t been participating, I just feel comforted knowing the support is there when I’m ready.

Loved this! Can you possibly one day write a blog or talk about your thoughts on ‘the pill’? I think it would be very popular and interesting, and you could intertwine it with how sugar also affects our hormones.

Hmmm, I’ll look into this for everyone.

Sarah, what made you choose a vitamix over a thermomix? I’ve torn between the two and need to make a decision soon.

Hey Larnie,
There’s a Thermochef too – might be worth looking at! Hope that doesn’t make the choice harder! I have a Thermomix and am very happy with it – but I hadn’t heard of Thermochef (or Vitamix) before I got mine, so I might have gone Thermochef as it’s considerably less expensive & seems to do all the same stuff … Just thought I’d let you know!

I think the webinars have been great, I only watch after the fact though, too much going on here to sit down at a designated time.
This one is not playing though….
Keep on writing about what drives you Sarah, whatever the topic I am sure people will be interested and engaged by your thoughts and intelligent commentary.

Excellent webinars. Definitely do more on other topics. Exspecially interested in diet/health related subjects.
After quitting sugar I also chose to give up bread, pasta, flour etc and feel great.

I loved the webinars – so helpful and engaging. Definitely make some more. I’d love one on topics like AI, hormonal health, environmental impacts on health, general wellness, meditation, and exercise. I really like being able to hear you speak, it’s so personal and really helped me engage with the IQS program (even though I started eating sugar after the 8 weeks, I’ll definitely go back to a sugar-free lifestyle).

Loved the webinars. Very informative, helpful and clear. Great to listen in when the time permits. Looking forward to the cookbook!! How exciting. Will it be gluten free?
One comment, maybe a thyroid thing or maybe that you hadn’t had any dinner, but the use of ‘Uuum’ was fairly prolific throughout this webinar which made it difficult to focus. Just a small comment on an otherwise wonderful, helpful and generous session.
thank you!

Hi Sarah,
I have a question for you:
I just watched the March 4th video where you spoke about the vast benefits of butter over margarine. What about Nuttelex? Is that better or worse than margarine? I thought I was choosing a healthy option, but maybe that’s not the case!
Thanks for any advice,
Tess
P.s I’m on day 7 of the IQR, it’s slightly killing me to say no to sugar, but I’m feeling the benefits (I think…)!

OMG!! Just starting out on quitting sugar and all grains (been a coeliac all my life) and was determined not to eat the dreaded natural youghurt. However, I bought some Chia shots added a sachet of Natvia and glory be, it tastes awesome.
I live in a remote area so don’t have access to many things – can you recommend any good online sites for ordering things like coconut flour and coconut water?
Discovered your website by accident a couple of weeks ago – bought your eBook and all of David Gillespie’s – such a revelation, thank you

I’m a bit of a dud by accidentally deleting the ‘I Quit Sugar e-book’ I purchased a couple of months ago. I had it sitting in my inbox and now it’s gone. How do I go about getting a replacement? I have my receipt. THanks

Finally got around to listening to your last webinar Sarah… love it! Thanks for all the tips!
Have been trying to do it myself since I quit sugar with varying degrees of success so some guidance would be fantastic!!!
And really wanted to say I am SO excited to hear about I quit grains!

I get a message saying “this content is not currently online”.
I quit grains?? That’s exactly what I need!! I’ve been trying to ditch the grains ever since finishing with sugar, as I didn’t feel much improvement from stopping it so I think it might be grains that are bloating me and making me sluggish. Can’t wait to read it, as a carb addict it’s been much harder than quitting sugar and I need all the help I can get. How exciting!!
