pre-order the print version of I Quit Sugar!

Posted on January 10th, 2013

* This post has been updated.

I’ll be quick. I don’t want to take up your time. So. This:  the print edition (hard copy) of my I Quit Sugar book hits bookstores from January 24. And because of the huge demand, and because many of you don’t have access to Australian bookstores, I decided to sell the hard copy through my site as well, and I made it available as a pre-order for  two weeks.

I Quit Sugar

But I wasn’t quite ready for the response …

Sadly, we sold out of our initial order that ships on the 24th of Jan (the publication date).  The book has gone to reprint before it’s even come out, due to the high demand from bookstores. And as of this afternoon (Tuesday) your order will be shipped from the reprint which is due to arrive mid February.

Postage is fixed at $7 for Australia, and $17 to anywhere else in the world. Just click below.

If you’re super keen to get started on quitting sugar NOW, you can pre-order the print edition, and I’ll send you my two ebooks (I Quit Sugar: an 8-week program, and I Quit Sugar Cookbook) for an extra $10 (save $20). Just click below.

What you can expect from the print version of the book:

(This is where I get all official and just spell out the stuff you want to know…apologies for it sounding so “official” and press release-y…)

  • The complete and updated 8-week detox program
  • 108 sugar-free recipes, including 20+ new recipes
  • Illustrated coffee table format

Inspired by my own personal experience, my work as a health coach, and my interviews with the top experts from around the world over a two-year period, I Quit Sugar is a step-by-step program for getting off sugar, complemented by recipes to keep you off it for good.

The program will lead you through the various stages of detox and adjustment, with advice on how to lose weight and kill cravings.

The recipes are designed for minimal fuss and expense and to supply you with ideas for breakfast (to replace the cereal and fruit salad with yoghurt), kids’ treats, sweet treats that can be made in less than five minutes, cakes, desserts and smoothies. I show you how to stock your fridge, pantry and freezer with sugar-free food ready to go.

And the effect afterwards? Most people lose weight, up to 50kg in some cases…just by following my program and changing nothing else in their lifestyles. Others have come off their cholesterol and diabetes medication. Everyone gets a clear head. Promise!

I’m ordering a print version to give to my parents. Both of them are over-weight. Mum has diverticulitis and Dad has Parkinson’s. I reckon if they take on even half of the principals of IQS they will both see the benefits.

Btw Sarah – I just got my latest Hashi’s blood tests today and almost everything is within normal reference range. I’ve been singing and crying all morning. :D

    Sarah Wilson Reply:

oh wow! that’s just wonderful news. are you feeling better, too???
    do you think IQS helped?

    [Reply]

    Svasti Reply:

I think it was definitely a part of the story for sure. My main tools were kinesiology, naturopathy, acupuncture and diet changes. Which includes quitting sugar. I’m still a little bit amazed by such awesome results!

    Svasti Reply:

Ooops and yes I feel so much better. Hard to believe how sick I was two years ago compared to how I feel now.

    Hi Sarah,
Thanks for posting this. One question – does this hard cover book combine your two ebooks on IQS & IQS cookbook?
Going to buy it anyway but just checking.
    Thanks,

Bought the E cookbook and can’t tell you how much I love it, but geeze I cant tell you how much my 2 yo loves it also haha… he is the biggest fan of the avocado popsicles (as am I) not to mention he insists on eating the crunchy granola for breakfast with me.
I cant wait to get the hard copy of your book, because there’s just something about having a hard book in your hands and flipping through the pages. Also, I wanted to add, that without doing the detox & just by eating the food in your book, I’ve lost the dreaded last 5kgs after 2 pregnancies in 2 years, its been super easy and its staying off… amazing and thanks so much. (Sugar craving?? What’s that??:))

G’day Sarah, Just wanted to say I’m finding your blog to be a great resource on the quest for a sugar free life. As a means of being accountable and to track the my own efforts I recently started a blog that my friends and family have thrown their support behind (whenileftsugar.me). Its been a great boost to the will power to have it up and running. I’ve recently bought one of your ebooks too and can’t wait to tuck into some of your recipes…particularly for breakfast…I mean there are only so many ways you can cook an egg!
    Thanks for the inspiration

Hi Sarah — i am interested in purchasing your book and quitting sugar, but had a concern i wanted to address before ordering. I am on a medication where i must watch my vitamin K intake (limiting spinach, avacado, cranberry juice, etc). Will i be able to participate / modify your recipes with these limitations? I appreciate your response!

    Dear Sarah,
In late December, I purchased the 2 x ebook bundle deal. In purchasing the hardcopy, am I receiving essentially the same thing, but in print? Or is there more to it? Apologies if I am being a bit daft….guess I am still detoxing!??
In the meantime am enjoying experimenting with the recipes…so far all excellent.
    Regards,
    Sarah

I have been trying to buy your print book and ebook bundle online. But whenever I try to buy it I get told
“We are sorry, we are experiencing temporary difficulties. Please try again later. If this error occurred while making a payment, avoid duplicate payments by checking your Account Overview before resending a payment.

For some browsers, this problem can be resolved by clearing or deleting cookies.

I have tried again on different days (to make sure it wasn’t a temporary problem) I have cleaned the cookies off my computer, but it still doesn’t work.

Is there any other way I can buy your print book and the two ebooks for the price on your page.
